We recently received this aerial photograph of Vila Nova de Milfontes, dated 1945. This is a photograph full of historical interest and shows us many interesting facts. The urban core of Vila Nova de Milfontes was still quite small, but was already showing some expansion. Franquia beach formed a small bay, boasting a sandy area of ​​considerable size. The cais de Milfontes destaca-se in the photograph, which is understandable given its importance at the time. We can also see what the town was like before the construction of the bridge and the lighthouse road. Without a doubt, a historical relic of Vila Nova de Milfontes!
